8th Grade: Attention 8th graders – If you are considering one of our LPS high schools other than your home school, your parents need to fill out an Open Enrollment application. See the counseling office for more details and an Open Enrollment form.

 

8th grade only:

Tell your parents about a new section in the yearbook: Baby ads.  For $20 a baby picture and a message from your parents will be placed in the back of the book.  This is a way for them to honor and congratulate you for your years of hard work.  Go to the Euclid school web page (Parent section) for directions.  

 

ALL GRADES:  

OOH LA LA!  Did you know the French word connoisseur has been the most frequently used word on Scripps National Spelling Bee word lists? Want to know some other insider tips to conquer the spelling bee?  Do you love to spell?  Spelling Club will begin on Wednesday, October 31 at 7:15 AM in room 82. It is open to all grades and will be held every Wednesday morning.  Students unable to attend Spelling Club can still study for the bee using the official bee study guide by going to the EMS web site, clicking on core, then gifted and talented, and looking for the spelling bee study guide link.  Students, you will have to be signed in to your Google account to view the study guide.

 

Red Ribbon Week - this week is dedicated to stand for Staying Drug Free!!  Support this effort by wearing Crazy Hair - "Hairs" to a drug-free life!!

 

It is that time of the year again - Sucker sale!!  Help support your school and student council by purchasing suckers at lunch in the cafeteria.  You best be quick - these suckers sell out in a matter of days!!  Buy one for your friend, teacher or yourself.  Makes a great gift for friends. Comes in lots of flavors like mountain berry, lemonade, raspberry lemonade, cherry coke, orange, root beer and many more.  Suckers start on sale on Thursday of this week and run through Halloween of next week.  They cost only $1.00 for big lips or a large lollipop!!
