8th Grade: Attention 8th grade boys – there will be an informational meeting and shoot around today after school in the gym for anyone interested in playing basketball.  See Mr. Coll or Mrs. Knafelc if you have questions.

ALL GRADES: Math Counts meets today after school in Mrs. Lloyd’s room.  We are preparing for our show-down with Powell on January 14, and the Denver Metro competition in February.  Snacks will be provided.  Check with Mrs. Lloyd if you have any questions.

Do you have friends you would like to get something for but you are not sure what? How about a sucker?  We have giant sized suckers on sale now in the cafeteria during your lunch.  Stop by and buy one for only $1.00!!  Lots of flavors in both sweet and sour.  All proceeds benefit Euclid.  Get them soon before we sell out.

ALL GRADES: The wrestling match originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 17 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 18 at 3:00 PM.

Let’s all eat breakfast!  If you are on the lunch program, that is, if you receive free or reduced lunches, you can get free breakfast every day. If you pay for your lunch, you only pay $1.25 daily for breakfast. You get to pick cereal or a hot breakfast item and then add to it, milk, juice, yogurt and fruit.  Hope to see you all at breakfast!  Diana

Then sign up for the 14th Annual Littleton Stride 5K Run/Walk or 1K Fun Run tomorrow, Saturday, November 7.  This family, friendly run helps raise money for the LPS Foundation.  Also, the school with the most participation wins money for their school.  See Mr. Coll, Mr. Fischer or Mrs. Knafelc for more information.

Don’t forget tomorrow’s Breakfast for Books event at school from 9-11 am.  Come by with your family and friends for breakfast and your final opportunity to shop the Book Fair.  The breakfast is free (bagels, muffins, donuts, juice and lots more.)   Hope you can come!

Hey chess players!  Littleton Public Schools’ district chess tournament will take place on Saturday, December 5th at Newton Middle School.  Beginner through Advanced players are invited to attend.  Pick up your entry form from Mrs. Goldstein or Mrs. Lloyd.  Entries are due by November 18 to Mrs. Lloyd in room 206.

Attention NJHS members and others who would like to help with the Euclid water station during the Littleton Stride.  Please let Mrs. Lloyd know if you can come help serve water and cheer on the runners.  The more, the merrier!  This is a great way to earn recognition for Euclid if you’re not able to run the race.

This is a W Day.

8th Grade: WEB Leaders meet in room 91/93 after 3rd period to pick up clip boards and go to assigned rooms.

ALL GRADES: The student council meeting scheduled for this Thursday has been cancelled.  If you are attending the Heritage Leadership Conference on November 12 do NOT forget to turn your permission slip into Mrs. Duran by this Thursday, November 5.  The next meeting is scheduled for November 19.  See you then in Room 82. 

Lacking sudden emergency staff meeting, city paralyzing blizzard, alien abduction, or global catastrophic event featured in one Nicolas Cage movie or another, Boondoggle Club will meet this Wednesday in room 110. 

Looking for some family bonding time? Then sign up for the 14th Annual Littleton Stride 5K Run/Walk or 1K Fun Run on Saturday, November 7.  This family, friendly run helps raise money for the LPS Foundation.  Also, the school with the most participation wins money for their school.  See Mr. Coll, Mr. Fischer or Mrs. Knafelc for more information.

Remember that our Breakfast for Books event will be held this Saturday, November 7th from 9 – 11 am at the school in conjunction with our Annual Book Fair.  We’ll have FREE breakfast for you and your family, while you are shopping at the Book Fair.  We’ll also have specialty drinks for sale for a small fee.  Come and listen to the many students who will be performing at the event.  See you there!

Hey chess players!  Littleton Public Schools’ district chess tournament will take place on Saturday, December 5th at Newton Middle School.  Beginner through Advanced players are invited to attend.  Pick up your entry form from Mrs. Goldstein or Mrs. Lloyd.  Entries are due by November 18 to Mrs. Lloyd in room 206.

Hey Brainiacs!  Come share your knowledge at Brain Bowl this Thursday after school in room 206.  Bring a snack and join us for some fun.
