This is a W Day.

7th Grade: Do you like to run, throw, jump or hurdle?  If so we need all 7th graders to come out and play on our 7th grade track team.  If you are interested come to an informational meeting on Tuesday September 1 in the gym from 7:30 – 7:45 AM.  We will get you signed up, collect fees, hand out and collect your yellow cards and give you a schedule.  See you then. 

ALL GRADES: Students, please remember that you must have your student ID card to check books out from the Media Center.  You will not be allowed to use just your lunch number for identification.

The Falcon Eye, Euclid’s all-grade school newspaper, meets on Mondays after school in the Falcon Lab.  The meeting for today, August 31 has been cancelled.  New writers welcome.

Boondoggle Club (a.k.a. – Woven Plastic Stringy-Thing Club) will meet on Wednesdays beginning September 2 in room 110. 

Attentions musicians: Auditions for the 2009-2010 Euclid Jazz Band will be on Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2. Sign up for an audition time in room 17 and pick up the information packet.

Attentions musicians: Auditions for the 2009-2010 Euclid Jazz Band will be on Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2.  Sign up for an audition time in room 17 and pick up the information packet.

Many of your parents ask you to carry cell phones so they can contact you or monitor activities during the day.  You may use your cell phone OUTSIDE before or after school.  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  During the school day, you are allowed to use school phones (classroom and office) or your parents can contact the main office at 303-347-7800 to get a message to you.

Text messaging, flaunting or flagrant use of a cell phone during the school day will result in the cell phone being taken away.  The assistant principals will be around this week during core talks to explain more about this process.  So…At this time…If you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

7th Grade: If you received an invitation to be in this year’s Student Council, please attend the meeting on Thursday, August 27 from 7:00 – 7:45.  Breakfast will be provided!!  See you then.  Use your pass to get you into the building on that day.  Remember it is in Room 82.  If you were in student council last year but did not get an invitation please see Mrs. Duran by Wednesday to get your pass.  Everyone that was in student council last year should have been invited.

8th Grade: WEB Leaders: Today will be the first in-school meeting for WEB leaders.  After your last elective class at 10:18, come directly to room 91 where the fun begins.  Other 8th grade students will report to Core class for Intentional Time.  Please come directly to Room 91 and be prepared for a fast moving half hour.  Remember to wear your WEB Leader shirt so you can access the privileges associated with wearing it.
