The next meeting of the Euclid Color Guard is Tuesday, February 5 in the cafeteria.

 

Attention Spelling Club!  We will have our final 3 meetings of the year on Wednesday, February 6th, February 13th and February 20th at 7:15 AM.  We will be watching Akeelah and the Bee! We will also be taking our yearbook photo on Wednesday, February 6th during spelling club! Hope to see you there.

 

Girls on the Run will start the week of March 4^th.  Girls on the Run inspires girls to a lifetime of self-respect and a healthy lifestyle through an innovative program that combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk race with a fun, health education lesson plan. We will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm after school. Open to all 6^th through 8^th grade girls. Registration info coming in February. Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

CHECK OUT YOUR YEARBOOK PHOTO.  It is posted in the cafeteria.  When you get a chance, check to see if your photo is included and your name is spelled correctly.  If there are any errors, get a "Problem Sheet" from the lunch lady, fill it out & hand it back to her.  She will give it to the Yearbook Staff for corrections to be made for the final copy.

 

Yearbook would like to get YOU and your club/sport team photo in the yearbook.  We have a few sports already, but we are missing a few.  Please look at the list posted in the cafeteria and be ready to meet at the cafeteria stage at 7:40 a.m. on the days that apply to you.

Are you ready for some fitness?  Do you want to get in shape or stay in shape for your upcoming sports or race events?  If you answered yes than we have the club for you.  Now that the new fitness center is up and running we will be offering a fitness club.  If you are interested, come to an informational meeting at 2:50 pm on Monday, January 14.  Meet in the wrestling/activity room.  If you have any questions, see Mr. Fischer or Ms. Enderlin. 

 

Newspaper Club: Sorry for the late notice – Newspaper Club will be meeting on Wednesdays not Thursday until further notice.  Please make arrangements.

National Junior Honor society will meet this Friday, January 11 at 7:00 a.m. in the double classroom.  Breakfast will be served.  We will be updating personal service record sheets, celebrating the success of our projects last semester, and learning about the upcoming project: Tree of Life.
