Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a W Day.

6th Grade:

Attention 6th graders... 6th Grade Track starts today. We will meet in the gym after school and head to the track for our first practice.  We will have calendars available with all practice dates at the first practice. Practice goes from 3:00-4:15

ALL GRADES:

Did you know that, “Participation in training as a member of sports and exercise clubs has been linked to good performance at school*?”  Being active can make you smarter!

The Euclid Cycling Club is an introductory cycling skills and fitness club.  It is open to all students.  Even if you don’t own a bike, we can find one to loan you. We will learn about safe riding, how to maintain a bike, fix flat tires and other minor repairs, and of course, go for bike rides!

Please note new date: Our first meeting will be Tuesday, April 8.  This meeting will be informational only, no need to bring your bike and helmet yet.  We’ll meet in the Double Classroom for about 30 minutes.  Regular meetings and rides will begin on Tuesday, April 8.  Please see Mrs. Lloyd in student services or student leader, Mea Parachini in Discovery Core if you have questions.  Happy riding!             *Finnish National Board of Education, Physical Activity and Learning; summary. 2012

National Junior Honor Society will meet in the double classroom on Friday, April 4 at 7:00 a.m.  We will be continuing Hunter's project of the anti-bullying campaign and discussing the upcoming Induction Ceremony. This will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m.  Breakfast will be served.

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.
