Handling Stress over the Holidays

You need stress in your life! Does that surprise you? Perhaps so, but it is quite true. Without stress, life would be dull and unexciting. Stress adds flavor, challenge, and opportunity to life. Too much stress, however, can seriously affect your physical and mental well-being. A major challenge in this stress-filled world of today is to make the stress in your life work for you instead of against you.  Stress is with us all the time. It comes from mental or emotional activity and physical activity. It is unique and personal to each of us. So personal, in fact, that what may be relaxing to one person may be stressful to another. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and full of stress during the holidays. This week will be devoted to learning ways to cut down on stress so you can enjoy the holidays and life more.  Below is a calendar item to put in your agenda.

Friday we will have a Pajama pants/Sweats Day.

Please take this day to put on your comfortable sweatshirts and/or sweat pants and/or pajama pants for this day.  Remember this is the only day pajama pants will be allowed.  So.... Enjoy!

Wrestlers, if you have not turned in your singlet and head gear to Ms. Enderlin, you need to have it in by tomorrow, Friday, December 13.

Help the Student Council to raise toys to give to children that won't get a Christmas.  Please bring in new toys to the cafeteria in the mornings before school and help us make this a Christmas to remember for many families.  The toy drive goes through tomorrow, Friday, December 13.

Attention Students! Student Council is having their sucker sale! The sale will be held next week.  The sale won't last long, so during your lunch get down to the cafeteria and get your holiday suckers!  (Suckers are $1 each.)
