How about Chocolate Hershey's Kisses?  If so, this is your chance to estimate how many can fit in these water bottles.  If you are the closest without going over the number that Mrs. Duran counted then you could win the entire jug of candy.  To participate and help raise money for this year's fundraiser you can purchase tickets for a quarter a piece and write your estimate on the ticket and turn it in.  Tickets are available during your lunch on Wednesday only.  No limit to the number of guesses you can make and you can also donate money at this time as well.  We are also signing up students that want to walk with us on April 22.  The cost for that is only $3.00 and the first 100 to pay the $3 gets a sucker and a bracelet to show their support.  Thanks so much for supporting this great cause, Student Council

8th graders!  Can you juggle?  How about ride a unicycle? Do you wow everyone with your gymnastic abilities? Are you a singer, play an instrument, do both at the same time? Can you dance--ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, Irish step dance?  Or do you have a rockin' sense of humor?

If you fit any of these categories then the 8th grade talent show is for you!! Auditions are next week on Tuesday, April 11 or Wednesday, April 12 after school in the choir room. Mrs. Mac, Mrs. Duran, and Mrs. Hayes will be your awesome directors, and will help you hone your talents so you are ready to perform for the rest of your peers as part of the continuation festivities at the end of May. We also need 3-4 8th graders to act as Emcee's--introducing each act. This is where that rockin' sense of humor is a must!

If your abilities lie more in the backstage end of things, we are looking for about 5 people to be the tech crew to make sure everything runs smoothly. Audition forms are due Monday, April 10th.  You can pick up forms outside the choir room, or talk to Mrs. Mac.  SOOO> come join the fun and be part of this year's 8th grade talent show!!
