ALL GRADES:

International Bike and Walk to School Day: Wednesday, May 8th is International Bike and Walk to School Day. Healthy snacks will be served outside before school to students and staff who walk or bike to school (those who cannot walk or bike to school will have an opportunity to walk the EMS track to participate in this celebration). Stay tuned to the daily bulletin for other bike and walk events during the rest of the week!

 

            IMPORTANT CALL BOX INFORMATION

·         Call Box is in use from 8am to 4:15pm.

·         Students who arrive late or return to school will need to use the Call Box to be let in.

·         Students will need to go thru the building when given a pass for the office, clinic, counseling or other rooms.

·         For Lunches, the front doors will open at the designated lunch time. Students should not go to lunch early. If students are late to lunch, they need to enter thru the cafeteria door.

·         After school, the doors will lock at 3pm. All students must be off campus or in a school sponsored activity.

·         When using the Call Box, hold down the button to talk once you have been acknowledged and then look at the camera so we can verify who you are.

Attention all WEB leaders: this is just a reminder about our meeting this morning.  After first period, you will need to go to second period to allow your teachers to take attendance. After you check in with your teachers, please come down to the double classroom with your WEB permission slip, $10 and your backpack. Bring everything with you as you will be dismissed from this meeting to go directly to your first core class and not back to your 2nd period class.  See you soon!!

Euclid Cycling Club: The Euclid Cycling Club is an introductory cycling skills and fitness club.  It is open to all students.  Even if you don't own a bike, we can find one to loan you.  We will learn about safe riding, how to maintain a bike, fix flat tires and other minor repairs, and of course, go for bike rides!  Meetings: Tuesdays, April 2 - May 21, 2:45-4:00.  We may decide to have one Saturday ride and one culminating ride TBD. Required: each participant must have a helmet.  Helmets will always be worn while riding. Sponsor: Mrs. Lloyd (slloyd@lps.k12.co.us)

Today's the day!  The Euclid Cycling Club will meet today after school near the front door.  We will be going for a short ride after a short talk and doing bike checks.  If it's raining we'll go to the fitness center.  Not ready to ride today?  You can join us for the informational part of our meeting, then bring your bike and helmet next week.  We'll be meeting every Tuesday through May 14.  Have a friend who doesn't have a bike, but wants to participate?  We have a few bikes we can provide, but you need to let us know.  Check with Mrs. Lloyd in student services if you have questions.
