ALL GRADES:

“The Best Party of All Time" is happening here at Euclid next Thursday, March 6.  6th graders, you have a future here at Euclid, so dress up in futuristic clothes, robotic items, spacemen, Star Trek or Star Wars attire.  7th graders represent our generation, so dress up in current clothes, fancy or casual, neon or all one color.  8th graders will soon be leaving and have a past at Euclid so they will be dressing in any attire that represents a decade before 1990!!  The party is only $3.00, there will be lots of food, drinks and even cotton candy!!  Hope to see you there.

Hey Everybody!  NJHS is having a bake sale to raise money to help Feeding America.  It is on Thursday and Friday during your lunch hour.  So bring a couple bucks and buy some goodies!  But if you are in NJHS bring your baked goods to the stage in the cafeteria on Thursday morning.  Thanks!

 

Newspaper Club will NOT meet this Thursday, February 27.  However, Mrs. Horton needs all your articles by Thursday in order for them to be included in the March Fly Away.  Due to the All-School Party on March 6 the next meeting will be March 13.  We will be working on the last edition for the year. Come out and support student councils effort to raise money for our Arapahoe fund.  We are selling suckers and bracelets next week during lunch.  For $1 you can get a sweet or sour sucker or a fishtail bracelet, or you can by original bracelets 2 for $1.00.  Both the suckers and the bracelets will go quickly so bring your money on Monday. We have yummy flavors like mountain berry, root beer float, tangerine, raspberry lemonade and strawberries and cream. We will have special tags available if you want to attach it to a sucker and give it to a friend.  See you at lunch.

 - Delete any personal information that is dangerous

 - Delete groups that may be hurtful or offensive

Attention all you fitness freaks!  There will be no Fitness Club today; however it will be available this Wednesday morning.

 

National Junior Honor Society will meet Friday, February 7 at 7:00 AM in the double classroom.  Breakfast will be served.  We will be continuing to plan Alex K's project of Feeding America.

 

Attention 6th and 7th graders:  Do you have outstanding scholarship, good citizenship, character, and leadership?  You may be eligible to join Euclid's National Junior Honor Society, or NJHS.  This is a program for students who excel in these areas.  Eligible students will receive an invitation to apply this week.  If you are eligible and want to join, follow the directions on your invitation.  Applications are due February 11 at 3:00 PM.  See Mrs. Grenawalt if you have questions.

 

This week is cyber safety week! The topics of the week will be; texting etiquette, proper use of social media such as Facebook and Twitter, and internet safety.  Look for posters and brochures throughout the week that offer all kinds of tips and tricks to stay safe!  There will also be a Delete Day and an Unplug Day!!  Teachers please go over this information with students.
