This is a W Day.

ALL GRADES:

Do you have DVD’s sitting around in your home? Is your wallet overflowing with gift cards? Do you have endless passes to the zoo or other attractions, but can never find time to go?  Student Council will soon be starting our annual service project for the community.  We are planning on having a week long Entertainment Drive for Ronald McDonald House.  The new house needs to stock their DVD library.  If you have any gently used DVD’s or would like to go out and buy new ones that you would like to donate please start finding these items over the next week.  The drive is starting on May 5th!!

Attention 7th graders!  Today is the deadline for your application to work with the incoming 6th grade class as a WEB leader.  Turn your application in to Mr. Fischer, Ms. Farnham, or Mrs. Atherton. 

Interested in taking PE all year long?  8th grade Advanced PE is the place for you!  The deadline for turning in your applications is today at 3 pm.  Please see Mrs. Knafelc or Mr. Fischer if you have any questions.

ALL GRADES:

Falcon’s Nest tomorrow, Thursday, April 17 will be in room 91 with Mrs. Rehling.

What does a penny buy you? In Afghanistan and Pakistan, a penny buys a student a pencil. To them, it buys them an education. NJHS is doing a penny drive for Pennies For Peace starting today, April 16th and going to May 2nd. There will be bottles in every S.S. classroom, and every day they will be picked up and measured. Every Friday, the core with the most pounds of pennies per person will be awarded Otterpops! Everyone can donate and make a difference!

Don’t forget the Student Council meeting in room 82 on Thursday morning at 7:00AM - See you there.
