8th Grade: If you received an invitation to be in this year’s Student Council, please attend the meeting on Thursday, August 27 from 7:00 – 7:45.  Breakfast will be provided!!  See you then.  Use your pass to get you into the building on that day.  Remember it is in Room 82.  If you were in student council last year but did not get an invitation please see Mrs. Duran by Wednesday to get your pass.  Everyone that was in student council last year should have been invited.

ALL GRADES: The Falcon Eye, Euclid’s all-grade school newspaper, meets on Mondays after school in the Falcon Lab.  Join us on August 31.  New writers welcome.

Boondoggle Club (a.k.a. – Woven Plastic Stringy-Thing Club) will meet on Wednesdays beginning September 2 in room 110.

Attentions musicians: Auditions for the 2009-2010 Euclid Jazz Band will be on Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2.  Sign up for an audition time in room 17 and pick up the information packet.

Many of your parents ask you to carry cell phones so they can contact you or monitor activities during the day.  You may use your cell phone OUTSIDE before or after school.  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  During the school day, you are allowed to use school phones (classroom and office) or your parents can contact the main office at 303-347-7800 to get a message to you.  Text messaging, flaunting or flagrant use of a cell phone during the school day will result in the cell phone being taken away.  The assistant principals will be around this week during core talks to explain more about this process.
