8th Grade: Attention 8th graders – If you are considering one of our LPS high schools other than your home school, your parents need to fill out an Open Enrollment application. The application process is from October 1 to January 31.  See the counseling office for more details and an Open Enrollment form.

 

ALL GRADES:  

OOH LA LA!  Did you know the French word connoisseur has been the most frequently used word on Scripps National Spelling Bee word lists? Want to know some other insider tips to conquer the spelling bee?  Do you love to spell?  Spelling Club will begin on Wednesday, October 31 at 7:15 AM in room 82. (Please note date change.) It is open to all grades and will be held every Wednesday morning.  Hope to see you there!

 

This week is Red Ribbon Week - this week is dedicated to reminding kids to stand for Staying Drug Free!!  Support this effort by dressing like a nerd tomroow!! 


Here's the rest of the outfits for the week -

Wednesday: Wear a cool hat or cap    Hat Day - put a cap on drugs

Thursday:     Neon/80's Day                 Be bright, don't do drugs.  Wear neon colors with an 80's twist!

Friday:          Crazy Hair                       "Hairs" to a drug-free life!!

Look forward to seeing those crazy outfits to remind everyone to be DRUG FREE!!  

 

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.
