ALL GRADES: Hey all of you Math Wizards out there. Have you been told that you are great at math? Then join Math Counts and help lead Euclid to a great showing at the district, metro and state Math Counts tournaments. Our first practice is on Tuesday, November 9th after school in Mr. Otte’s room 212.
Spelling Club will be held Thursdays at 2:45 in room 94 beginning tomorrow, November 4. Bring a snack and come ready to practice.
Students don’t forget your jackets at lunch. The days are getting cooler.
National Junior Honor Society meeting will be this Friday, November 5th at 7:00 AM in the double classroom. We will be planning a bake sale and a stuffed animal drive. Come ready to make posters and plan the details. You may receive a notice this week to bring snacks.
Internet safety tips;
Be polite to others online just as you would offline. If someone treats you rudely or meanly-do not respond. Online bullies are just like offline ones - they WANT you to answer (don’t give them the satisfaction). Don’t believe everything you read. Just because someone online tells you that they are 14 doesn’t mean they are telling the truth. Even adults can’t tell when a male pretends to be a female or a 50 year old pretends to be a 14 year old.
