Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a B Day.

6th Grade:

Attention all 6th graders. Ms. Fidler is doing a free club with more PE games and activities. Come join us today after school for even fun and games.

Calling all 6th graders - The 8th grade leadership team is currently planning an epic 6th grade party on Friday, December 13th for all 6th grade students that have earned a Falcon Feather. You must turn any Falcon Feathers into the office by 4 pm on Friday, December 6th to be eligible to attend. There will be dancing, a comedy skit, games and CUPCAKES! Right now Maroon Peak is in the lead with 84% of their core turning in at least one feather.  Hope to see you at the party.

All Grades:

Attention wrestlers - Singlet and Shirt turn in is Friday, November 22nd at 8:15 am in the gym. Please wash your gear before turn in.

Attention Magic the Gathering Club members, we will be having our first round of the Winter Tournament on the first week of December. Please come to this Thursday's meeting to sign up for the tournament if you didn't attend last week's. If you sign up to play in the tournament, you must attend all meeting days. If you don't participate in the tournament, you can still attend the club and see who will reign supreme!

Euclid Brain Bowl has begun! This fun academic competition combines academic content knowledge in a variety of subjects, teamwork skills, and leadership qualities. We practice every Monday in Mrs. McWilliams and Mr. Tuke's rooms (down in the Venture Core hallway).

The annual LPS Chess Tournament will take place on Saturday, December 7th at Newton Middle School from 8:00 am - 2:30 p.m. The cost is $15. Pick up a registration form in Student Services and turn in to Mrs. Grenawalt in room 1114. Hurry! Registration ends on Friday, November 22, right before Thanksgiving break.

Geography Club will meet on Tuesdays in Mrs. Neufeld's room (0292) from 4:00-5:10. We will 1-up each other by answering tough questions on geography, history, and science. We will prepare for the Euclid Geography Bee that will be coming up in January, and gear up to send our Euclid winner on to the Colorado State Geo Bee!
