Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader
This is a W Day.
Hey there 7th graders! On Thursday, November 10 is the 7th grade party! The party is free and will take place in the cafeteria and gym area. The theme of the party is around the world so dress up! There will be prizes and food!
Attention all students, today we will be recognizing all of the students that received a Be REAL in October. We did a drawing and 24 students in each grade will receive a doughnut. If you are not one of the 24 students, but you did earn a Be REAL you will receive some candy. Both prizes will be given out during lunches so don't forget to collect your prize. However, Mr. Kolasa will be happy to eat any of the remaining doughnuts.
Next week NJHS is sponsoring a penny drive to raise money for cancer research. Each classroom will be competing to raise the most amount of points. Pennies will count as positive points for your classroom but you can also sabotage your fellow classroom by adding silver or paper money. Any silver or paper money will count as negative points. The winning class will receive a bag of candy.
Strategy lovers and chess experts, the annual Littleton Public Schools Chess Tournament will take place on Saturday, December 3 at Newton Middle School from 8-2:30. Registration forms are available in student services. The deadline for signing up is November 15. If you're interested, pick up your form now because no onsite or late registrations can be accepted.
NJHS members: don't forget to present our pennies for patients project to your classroom and to come on your night to collect and count money the week of Nov 7 - 11. Also please remember no meeting on the 11th because of our service project running all week.
