Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a B Day.

ALL GRADES:

You might have noticed the yellow ribbons and signs around our school.  This week is "Yellow Ribbon Week" which means Suicide Prevention week. Each day this week, we will be highlighting different resources to help raise awareness and hope for those who may be struggling. Our focus this entire week will be on Having Hope and Getting HELP.

We will have a Yellow Ribbon table set up in the cafeteria every day this week. Please stop by to get more information and sign our banner pledging to have hope and get help. Also stop by to see how you can earn your Yellow Ribbon bracelet which we encourage students to wear every day. If you are caught wearing your Yellow Ribbon Bracelet this week, there may just be a special surprise for showing your support.

Lost and Found will be donated on Friday, November 22.  If you are missing a coat, sweater, jacket please check the Lost and Found before Thursday, November 21.

Hey Student Council members – we have a meeting this Thursday at 7:00 AM.  See you in room 109!

Strategy lovers and chess experts, the annual Littleton Public Schools Chess Tournament will take place on Saturday, December 7 at Newton Middle School from 8 AM - 2:30 PM.  Registration forms are available in student services. The deadline for signing up is November 22, right before Thanksgiving break. If you're interested, pick up your form now because no onsite or late registrations can be accepted.

Are you struggling with your homework, or need a quiet place to work? If so, Homework Help Session might be the perfect club for you. Every Wednesday for the remainder of the year, Mr. Richardson and Mr. Thelen will be in the library from 3:00-4:15 to help any students gain the knowledge they need to be successful in school. So come on by, and say hello. It will be one of the best choices you make this year. Hope to see you there.

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.
