Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a B Day.

ALL GRADES:

Did you know that within the span of one generation, the percentage of children walking or bicycling to school has dropped precipitously, from approximately 50% in 1969 to just 13% in 2009?  Do you want to learn more about riding your bike to school?  Euclid is going to have a cycling club!  Our first meeting will be in the gym on Tuesday, March 12.  More information to come!

Looking for something to do for Spring Break. Check out The Fly Away student newspaper for lots of ideas and recommendations. Just go to the link called Fly Away located in the Falcon Flier on the Euclid Website later this week.

Don't forget that Mr. Richardson or Mr. Thelen will be in the library on Thursday after school for a HW Help! session.  They look forward to seeing you there.

NJHS is doing a supply drive for an orphanage in Juarez, Mexico called Tree of Life.  It will be taking place next week February 26-28. We will be collecting simple things like toiletries and school supplies in one of your core classrooms.

8th grade: 4th period                       7th grade: 6th period                6th grade: 6th period

The core in each grade that collect the most items get a cookie party!  Thanks for your support.

National Junior Honor Society will be meeting this Friday, March 1 at 7:00 a.m. in the double classroom.  Breakfast will be served.  We will be telling the results of the personal care item drive for Tree of Life, and Lauren will be launching our new project.  See you there.
