Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a B Day.

Attention 7th and 8th grade students: Lights…camera…action!!  Auditions for our fall musical, FLAPPER! will be held on Monday, August 22 and Tuesday, August 23.  This is a great show, set in the 1920s, about a young girl who will inherit a large diamond on her upcoming 18th birthday!  Unless, of course, it is stolen by 2 thieving thugs who have hatched a ridiculous plot to steal it from Polly.  Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess are trying to swindle Polly’s Aunt out of her millions.  It is zany fun for all.  To find out more information, pick up audition materials, and sign up, see Mrs. McWilliams in room 16 today!

Those students who are interested in being part of the technical crew and assisting with building the set should see Mr. Vaitaitis on Monday, August 22 for set crew materials.

Please remember to pay your activity fee if you are planning to be involved in either the cast or crew of the show.

8th Grade: Welcome back eighth graders!  It is almost time for TRACK!!!!  Everyone is welcome to attend a 25 minute informational meeting for 8th grade girls’ and boys’ track season on Monday, August 22, from 2:50 until 3:15, in the gym.  Come hear coaches Gilpin and Fischer tell you what you need to know to be a track star for Euclid Middle School!  Be sure to arrange transportation home as this is a short meeting! See you there!

ALL GRADES: Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

Attention all aquarium and fish lovers; we will have the first aquarium club meeting in Mr. Yamnitz’s room 81 from 2:45-4:15 on Monday, August 22.  We will have a brief meeting, fill up the three aquariums and discuss what types of fish we will purchase for our aquariums.  Can’t wait to see you all there!

Late busses will begin on Monday, August 22.
