Attention aquarium club members; we will have our next aquarium club today from 2:45-4:15.  We will be going to Neptune’s so we will need parent drivers; meet in Mr. Yamnitz’s room 81.

Hey Brain Bowlers!  Here’s a tricky question:  What three numbers follow in this pattern?

  4  8  12  7  19  6  25  5  ...

  A. 18  9  25

        B. 21  7  29

        C. 28  6  33

        D. 30  4  34

        E. 32  8  37

Come to Brain Bowl in Mrs. Lloyd’s room after school today to find out the answer.  We’re beginning to form our teams for the competition in February. Don’t be left out!  Popcorn will be served.

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

A canned food drive will be held from November 29-December 1.  National Junior Honor Society is challenging all students to donate 2-3 items.  All items will be deposited in your core classrooms.  If your core collects the most items, you will win a free breakfast for your core.  We will average the items by the amount of people in the core.  All the items will be delivered to the Emergency Food Bank distribution center. Many families in our community are served by this organization.

There will be a National Junior Honor Society meeting in the double classroom this Friday, December 2 at 7:00a.m.  Please remember to bring your gift if you plan on doing so.  We will wrap gifts, listen to holiday music, eat, and sip hot cocoa and cider at the meeting.
