ALL GRADES: All library books are due back in the library by Monday, May 7.  Please return all books, magazines and Playaway audio books by next Monday to avoid being charged for a lost item.

 

On Tuesday, May 1 bring $1 to wear a hat and on Wednesday, May 2 bring another $1 to wear slippers.  This is a NJHS fundraiser for North Littleton Promise to help with cooking supplies and other necessities.  You can give your money to your first hour core teacher.

 

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

 

8th Grade:

Listen up 8th Grader!  This Thursday, May 3 is the 8th grade party.  The theme is a Black Light Party.  More details coming soon about the party.

Attention WEB applicants; thank you for all of the applications that were turned in and the interest you took into the WEB program!  After reading every application and receiving input from all of your teachers, a list has been made for our 2013 WEB leaders for next year.  This list is now posted in the gym.  If your name is on this list, please stop by Mr. Fischer's office to pick up a very important permission slip.  Congratulations to our new WEB leaders!!

 

8th Grade:

ALL GRADES:  National Junior Honor Society will host its annual Induction Ceremony TONIGHT, Thursday, April 26.  The ceremony is for all current members and those who have been recently selected.  Family members and friends are also encouraged to attend.  This will be located in the cafeteria from 6:30-7:30.  All students attending should wear appropriate clothing for the formal event (try to avoid jeans and t-shirts) and should arrive to the library at 6:00 p.m.  Check-in with Mrs. Sutterer if you are unable to attend.

 

It is almost your last opportunity to help support the orphanage in the Philippines.  Get your suckers fast as they are selling out!!  Support Jack and Tammy as they run this orphanage helping kids to get off the streets and into a home that has food, shelter, education and love!!

ALL GRADES:  Help support the kids in the Philippines by purchasing a sucker for a dollar or just donating a dollar,  What does a buck buy - food for a week for 1 child, a pair of shoes, a dollar a day for a month puts a child from the streets into an orphanage where they have shelter, food and love!!

Please partner with Euclid Student Council in raising money to help support an orphanage in the Philippines.  Next Tuesday - Friday purchase suckers at lunch or donate money in the donation bin to help raise money for these orphaned children. All profits go to help feed, clothe and shelter these precious children.

ALL GRADES:  CHILDREN'S BOOK DRIVE for kids in Liberia, West Africa.  Books are scarce and so are libraries in this poorest of poor countries.  Can you help out?  Please rummage around your house for any children's picture books or young teen books to donate.  NJHS students will be accepting them in the cafeteria at lunch times on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week.

 

The CURRENT National Junior Honor Society students will be meeting this Friday at 7:00 am. in the double classroom to plan our Induction Ceremony this month.  NEW NJHS students, please wait to attend May's Friday meeting.
