ALL GRADES:  Note:  Homework Help Session with Mr. Richardson has changed to Thursday.  It is now every Thursday in the Library from 3pm to 4:15pm.

Brain Bowl meets Mondays after school in room 103 with Mrs. Lloyd and Mr. Yamnitz.  Bring a snack and join us for some fun.

Today is the last day to order a yearbook.  They are $20.  See Mrs. Flaum in the office.

You might have noticed the yellow ribbons and signs around our school. This week is “Yellow Ribbon Week” which means Suicide Prevention week. Each day this week, we will be highlighting different resources to help raise awareness and hope for those who may be struggling. Our focus this entire week will be on Having Hope and Getting HELP.

We will have information tables set up in the cafeteria every day. Please visit our table today to get more information. If you sign our banner pledging to have hope and get help you will receive your Yellow Ribbon bracelet which we encourage you to wear every day.

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

Don’t forget to enter the raffle to have a chance to win a water bottle, basketball, or football if you show your red ribbon week spirit.

Student Council would like to invite all Euclid students to participate in National Red Ribbon Week.  This week we will be dressing in particular attire to show that we will say NO to drugs. 

Monday – Put a Cap on Drugs – Wear a hat

Tuesday – Team up Against Drugs – Dress like a twin or multiple.

Wednesday - Drugs Turn You Inside Out - Wear your clothes inside out or backwards.

Thursday - Use Your Head Against Drugs - Wear crazy hair.

Friday - Be A Leader, Spirit Day – Wear Euclid colors to show your spirit.

Sign a red ribbon on Tuesday to commit to being drug free.  During lunch put your name in a raffle next Wednesday – Friday to win sports gear or water bottles.

Safe School Week: Take action against Cyber Bullying.  Tell an adult, leave the area or stop the activity, block the sender’s message, never reply to harassing messages, record any information you have about the incident and report it to the police.  Do not give out personal information!!!!  HINT!!! This will help you answer the lunch questions.

National Junior Honor Society will be meeting Friday, October 7 in the Double Classroom at 7:00 a.m.  Officers will be providing breakfast items for this meeting.  Dues of $10 will be collected.  Dues go toward funding the April induction ceremony, May breakfast and other service project expenses. You may bring your dues this month or next.

The Technology Student Association (TSA Club) will be starting on Tuesday, October 4th after school in the Technology Lab!  Come learn about our State Conference in Denver at the Denver Tech Center Marriott Hotel and our National Conference in Nashville Tennessee!  TSA will meet Tuesdays after school in the Wood Tech and Modern Tech labs.  All future TSA students must attend this mandatory meeting!  See Mr. Grimes or Mr. Biddulph for more information.  See you in the Tech Lab, Room 24 on Tuesday October 4th!

Wednesday, October 5 is Walk or Bike to school day!!  Be fit and stay healthy – walk or ride your bike to school.  If you stop by the table by the bike racks after walking or biking to school you can enter a raffle to win gift cards or South Suburban passes.  Hope to see everyone walking or biking to Euclid on Wednesday!!  Teachers included in the drawing.

Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a B Day.

7th Grade: Attention all 7th grade Tracksters. Come to the 7th grade Track party on Wednesday, October 5. It only costs $2.00 for popsicles and cookies. You must have turned in your uniform or bring it to the party. It will be after school in Mr. Otte’s room 209!

ALL GRADES: National Junior Honor Society will be meeting Friday, October 7 in the Double Classroom at 7:00 a.m.  Officers will be providing breakfast items for this meeting.  Dues of $10 will be collected.  Dues go toward funding the April induction ceremony, May breakfast and other service project expenses. You may bring your dues this month or next. 

The Technology Student Association (TSA Club) will be starting on Tuesday, October 4th after school in the Technology Lab!  Come learn about our State Conference in Denver at the Denver Tech Center Marriott Hotel and our National Conference in Nashville Tennessee!  TSA will meet Tuesdays after school in the Wood Tech and Modern Tech labs.  All future TSA students must attend this mandatory meeting!  See Mr. Grimes or Mr. Biddulph for more information.  See you in the Tech Lab, Room 24 on Tuesday October 4th!

Attention aquarium club members, we will go to Neptune’s aquarium store on Monday, October 3 to get more fish.  Please inform your parents if they are planning on driving.  We will only take as many kids as we can fit in the available cars.  We will meet in Mr. Yamnitz’s room 81 at 2:45 and return by 4:15.  I will see everyone in my room after school!

Reminder:  When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker.  It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day.  So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.

Homework Help Session with Mr. Richardson.  Every Tuesday in the Library from 3pm to 4:15pm.
