Be Respectful, Be Excellent, Be Accepting, Be a Leader

This is a W Day.

ALL GRADES:

We want you to "Be REAL" about suicide prevention, so today our focus is on Respecting the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of yourself and others. Growing up is not easy. You face many tough decisions and difficult life experiences that at times seem overwhelming. For some kids, a difficult, scary or threatening situation can cause so much distress that they start to think about killing themselves. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death for students in middle and high school and it can be prevented if adults and friends are aware of the warning signs and know what to do.

To learn more about the warning signs of suicide, please visit the information booth in the cafeteria during your lunch period. Remember to wear your Yellow Ribbon Bracelet this week!!

Lost and Found will be donated on Friday, November 22.  If you are missing a coat, sweater, jacket please check the Lost and Found before Thursday, November 21.

Hey Student Council members – we have a meeting this Thursday at 7:00 AM.  See you in room 109!

Are you struggling with your homework, or need a quiet place to work? If so, Homework Help Session might be the perfect club for you. Every Wednesday for the remainder of the year, Mr. Richardson and Mr. Thelen will be in the library from 3:00-4:15 to help any students gain the knowledge they need to be successful in school. So come on by, and say hello. It will be one of the best choices you make this year. Hope to see you there.
