This is a W Day.
6th Grade: Attention 6th graders – it’s time to lace up those Nikes and Asics. That’s right 6th grade track starts today, Monday, April 5! Meet Mr. Coll and Mrs. Duran in the Activity Room after school. See you there.
8th Grade: Talent show auditions will be April 15th from 2:45 – 5pm in room 16. Please come ready to perform. We want to see all kinds of talent!! If you’re good at sports, magic, comedy skits, singing, dancing……bring it all!! Please fill out an application, which is located in the cafeteria, and return it to Mrs. McWilliams or Mr. Fischer. One application per act, please. If you have any questions, please come see Mrs. McWilliams or Mr. Fischer.
ALL GRADES: Next time you are in the library, take a look at the new book trailers! We have updated the book previews to show more new and different books!
Don’t forget to drop your newspaper shout-outs in the Falcon Eye box across from the Student Services office. Newspaper club meets today after school in the Falcon Lab.
Wow… The “Be REAL” logo contest was well received. Over 150 students entered a drawing and they are INCREDIBLE!! Because the drawings are so incredible, we have asked an outside artist to come in and select the top 12-15 entries based on creativity, artistic ability, originality and reproducibility. These entries will be displayed on art boards in the cafeteria for the All-School Voting on April 8th and 9th. The student body will have a chance to vote for their favorite logo. Good Luck to Everyone who has entered!
Reminder: When you enter the building, you need to turn your cell phone off and store it in your locker. It is important that it is off and not on vibrate during the school day. So…at this time…if you have your cell phone with you, please turn it off and take it to your locker.
